My condolences to the family on the loss of your loved one. Losing someone you love is truly difficult and I know Dorcas will be missed. Please know our heavenly Father holds out promises that can help us with our sorrow. One such promise is that death soon will be done away with forever (Revelation 21:4) and another promise is that "there is going to be a resurrection." (Acts 24:15) I pray these promises from God, who cannot lie, (Titus 1:2) bring you comfort.

Dorcas- I'm so sorry I missed saying my good byes. I just want you to know that I took care of you behind the scenes and prayed for you and your family during every hospital stay . Rest in peace . I believe you are in a better place with Al.
You and Al were the best neighbors ever ! I cherish all the memories - and share them with my boys ! I will never forget the notes on our cars after we moved and the conversation we had at my kitchen table as you ventured over to still keep in touch and share laughs and stories. The picture of the two of you remained on my fridge for years - actually it's still be there! Love you guys!

I am so sorry to hear of Dorcas's passing, but know that she and Conk are together again. They were a match made in heaven, and they brought such caring and joy to so many people. As neighbors on South Fourth Avenue they were so wonderful in helping my parents in their later years. I always enjoyed visiting with them and laughing along with the many stories they had to tell. Even though I moved away from Ilion, I always stayed in touch because they were true and loyal friends. I will miss talking to Dorcas, but glad that she is at peace. She loved her family and spoke so much about her grandchildren. They will have loving memories of their grandparents. I am hoping to be there Monday.
