Papa all of my life you have been there for me.
Now I find myself at a loss of what to say at our final departure.
Although it is a difficult time for me I know you are still here to guide me in the right direction.
Through your words of wisdom over the years and joyful memories you live on in us all.
Your legacy shall echo for an eternity.
Reflecting upon our time together...
I recall all of those great trips to the Moose to get a cherry soda.
You always called me Grandpa's sidekick.
Taking long fourwheeler rides just to possibly get a look at some deer, but I think I fell asleep a few times.
I don't know if I will beable to ever perfect how you could fall asleep standing up and not drop an ounce of beer.
The love spats you and Grandma had will be missed.
These are just some of our memories together. Although there are not enough words to ever tell you how much you are appreciated and loved.
You will forever be with me.
Love your grandson
Stephen

Dad,
I'm lost in my thoughts, with you on my mind, seeing you there, all out of time...
I knew you were tired, I saw it on your face... The end was coming at a very fast pace. But how I so wanted for you stay, I really didn't want you to go away...
In time I came to really understand, Your will was really not our command...
Life became hard for you, We didnt want to see it... But we knew ...
You had to be where you could fly...With those Angels in the sky...
I had my time in your room that day, Holding your hand, with few words to say...Trying to believe whats happening is true..Looking in your eyes.. I then knew.... " God needed somebody in heaven, who is as special as you....
I can't help but think of the talks we just had, now that i know why, it makes me so sad... But it fills my heart with those things we had to say, it will be something , Nobody can take away...
You were my "Daddy" for all those years, I'll miss you terribly and cry my tears. But I also know that, Thats ok.... For we will be together again someday....
But always remember Dad.... Your memory is our keepsake with which we will never part...God may have you in his Keeping , We will always have you in our hearts.... I love you and will miss you so much Dad... Love you always Rhonda
