Ilion Hugh R. Bouck, 71 of Pine Tree Dr. in Ilion passed away on Saturday May 16, 2015 at home, with his family by his side. Hugh was born on October 5, 1943 in Ilion, he was the son of the late Ralph and Mary (McSherry) Bouck. He was a graduate of Ilion schools and Utica School of Commerce and was employed as a sub assembler at Remington Arms Co. until retiring in 2007. On October 16, 1965 he married the former Nancy Eastwood at Annunciation Church in Ilion. Hugh is survived by his wife Nancy; a daughter Ellen all of Ilion; a son Robert and his wife Simone; two brothers Russell and his wife Diane of Raleigh, NC and James and his wife Rosemary of Frankfort; two sister in laws Joyce Batman of Fredonia and Ellen and her husband Winfred Arnold of Mohawk; his special grandson and great grandson Jake and Jaylon; as well as several nieces and nephews and a special feline granddaughter Galaxi. Hugh was and loving and devoted father. In keeping with Hugh's wishes there are no calling hours and a graveside service will be held at Armory Hill Cemetery in Ilion at a date to be announced. Friends are asked to consider memorial donations to either HOSPICE 4277 Middlesettlement Rd.
