Michael A. Letts, 79 of 80 E. North St. in Ilion, passed away on Tuesday December 8, 2015 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Utica.
Mike was born on October 10, 1936 in Ilion, he was the son of Allen and Martha (Bennett) Letts. He was a graduate of Ilion Schools and received his Bachelor's Degree from Hobart University. Mike worked as a case worker for Herkimer County DSS, retiring several years ago.
Mike is survived by his cousins; Jane Smithson, Bridgett Snyder, Bo Foisey, Joanne Smith, Carol Leonis, DeeDee and David Lutz. He also leaves special friends and Ann Picket and her family. Mike is predeceased by his sister Donna.
In keeping with Mike's wishes funeral services are private and at the convenience of his family. Arrangements are with the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc. 100 Otsego St. in Ilion.
