It was my pleasure to have worked with Martha for several years in the Herkimer office of the Department of Labor until I was moved to another office in the Mohawk Valley Region. She was always a quick wit when we had free time to talk and was very knowledgeable about unemployment insurance and the area. We always enjoyed visiting when we saw each other around the town. I know she will be missed by everyone but especially her husband and 'kids'. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I moved back to NY in September 2014. I met Martha & Bob in November 2014. From the very beginning they have treated me like family. Martha helped me thru some difficult times with her calming wisdom & love for others. She has been the backbone of our Scouting program in Mohawk. I am going to miss our chats & giggling at silly things!! I hope she knows how much she's impacted my life. I love you Martha, rest in heavenly peace...♡
Bob, Christian & Sarah, my prayers are for your comfort & healing. If there's anything I can do for you, give me a call.

In August 1973 I relocated from NJ to Utica obtaining a position at the Bank of Utica. I found a 2nd floor apt at 1609 Seymour Avr in Cornhill where I met Martha and her mom Marguerite both living downstairs. For the next few years I lived at Seymour and both Martha and her Mom could not have been more kind and gracious to me. Martha left the bank at some point got married to and eventually moved to the valley as Bob if i recall worked at Remington Arms.
I was saddened to hear of Martha's passing. She was kind, giving person who will be missed. To her family please accept my sincere condolences. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I am so saddened to hear of Martha's passing. We were Rainbow Girls together as teenagers. I remember years later when I saw her leaving a Boy Scout Council dinner with Bob and Chris Reals. It turned out that she was now the wife of one of my dearest scouting buddies and mother to their son. Prayers for Bob and his family. I grieve with them.

So sorry for your loss. Martha was one of the best and will be greatly missed. Think back on the many summers at Camp Russell, smile at the moments that we all enjoyed and the great times spent together. Martha was good at everything she did and had a friend no matter where she was.
