Dad,
I remember when I took this photo of you on Christmas night, 2009 - right near your ham radio. This is the most representative picture of you I've ever seen. That smile was perfect.
And of all the people who could've held your hand through to the very end, I'm privileged that our Lord chose me. And I'm so happy that our family was there.
There's an emptiness at home now... but I must always remember when missing you, that you're truly now, Home.
I love you so very, very much. My father, my close friend, my entire life.

Donna and all of the Sheffield family I want to send my deepest heartfelt condolences. "Uncle" Lou was my Godfather, and he always treated me like family. I have many very fond memories of the times that Uncle Lou, my Dad and I spent together when I was a boy growing up in Ilion. Although I moved from the valley many years ago and have not enjoyed the personal contact with Uncle Lou as I had as a young boy, my Dad has kept me up to date with his and the Sheffield family lives. My prayers for you and all the children and grandchildren are offered for support in this time of saddness. For Uncle Lou, I know he will be a pillar of strength in the Kingdom of God just as he was here on earth.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Lou was a kind and gentle man, much like my Dad, Jack, who spoke of him often and fondly. I am sure that they are both in Heaven reliving those sweet days of youth, smiling down on us all, left poorer from our loss of their earthly presense. God Bless and Keep you close until we see you again. Stay well and strong Donna. Love, The Reyomes

Donna and Family,
I'm sorry I diDn't make it up to see you but I'm glad Norman had the chance to go. I wanted to let you know how much your father's (and mothers) friendship meant to my mom and dad over the years. They spoke of you both often and we always considered you as part of the family. God bless you all and know Louis was loved by many.
Love,
Tracy

It's been a little over two years now...
I love you and miss you. I remember often wandering into your room so that I could listen to your stories. The way your eyes would light up when you spoke about college/golf/cars... it meant a lot to me.
You are beautiful, Grampa.. Pray for me?
