Ilion Kelley Marie Crookes, 41 of Ilion, passed away on Saturday September 30, 2017 at Albany Medical Center, after a brief illness. Kelley was born on November 19, 1975, in Herkimer. She was the daughter of Albert "Skip" and Joan (Reed) Crookes. She was a 1994 graduate of Ilion Schools and she also attended Bryant and Stratton College and Jet Blue University. Kelley worked as a ticket agent and airline concierge for Jet Blue in Hyannas, MA. Prior to that she worked for 4 years for APAC as a HR receptionist. Kelley was one of the first female members of the Ilion Elks Lodge # 1444. Kelley is survived by her father Skip, her sister Kristin Ann Klein and her niece Olivia, all of Ilion. Aunts and uncles; Pearl Zagurski, Debbie Donahue, Dianne Reed, Pricilla and Jim Wildey, Donald and Donna Crookes and David and Maureen Crookes. She also leaves many beloved cousins and special friends. Kelley is predeceased by her grandparents and her mother Joan, who passed away in February. In keeping with Kelley's wishes there are no public calling hours or service. There will be a celebration of Kelley's life at Ilion Elks's Lodge #1444 on Sunday, October 29, 2017, at 2pm.
