Ilion
Gail F. Brown, 81, passed away October 25, 2017. She was born March 25, 1936 in Exeter, NH, the daughter of the late Gerald and Texas McAndrews Faunce. Gail was educated in New Hampshire, graduating of the University of New Hampshire. In August of 1960 she was united in marriage with Robert H. Brown in Peterboro, NH, Bob passed away November 20, 1985.
Gail was employed by the Ilion School District as an elementary teacher at North Street and Remington Schools for 30 years retiring several years ago.
Gail is survived by her daughter and son in law Allyson and Robert Hutson of Selma, NC., her son Steven of Ilion and her grandchildren Charles and Benjamin Barnes, Stacey Griffith and Ashley Hutson.
In keeping with Gail's wishes services will be at the convienience of the family, interment will be in the Armory Hill Cemetery Ilion.
Friends are asked to consider memorials to the Ilion-Frankfort Food Pantry in Gail's Mem Envelopes are available at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, Ilion

The Whiter Funeral Company was started in 1893 by H.A. Whiter and was originally located in Forestport, NY. Following a fire in Forestport, the family relocated in Ilion, and reopened the funeral home in the early 1900's.
