-2726 Ilion John A. Cronk, Sr., 68 passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018 at home with his family by his side. He was born November 16, 1949 in Alexandria Bay, NY, the son of the late Andrew and Dorothy Fuller Cronk Sr. John was a graduate of Adams Central School (S. Jefferson) and on November 8, 1969 he was united in marriage with Sally Rabetoy in Belleville, NY. John was a HVAC designer and installer prior to his retirement working with Savoy and Joseph HVAC, Utica, he was an avid outdoor person and loved camping, boating and travel. John is survived by his wife Sally, a son John Jr. and his wife Connie and their children Michael, Jonathan and Deanna of Frankfort. His three daughters, Amy and Michael Tanzillo and their children Michael and Jacob of Frankfort, Joanne and Andrew Foley and their children Samantha and Andrew of Ilion, Melissa and Jim Morgan and their children Cory, Josh, Spencer and Faith of Frankfort. He is also survived by his siblings, Andrew Jr. of Detroit, Doris Panka of Dear River, Minn., Rev. Mary Hollenbeck of Albuquerque, NM, Margaret Simpson of Bernard’s Bay, NY, , Pauline Gamble of Clrestview, FL, Carol Watson of Troy, NY and Leona Scott of Rodman, NY. He was predeceased by Geraldine Frizzel, Anna Babcock, Luella Byrns and Barbara Cronk. In keeping with his wishes a Celebration of John’s Life will be held Sunday June 3, 2018 at the Mohawk American Legion, 43 W. Main St., Mohawk, from 1:00 PM until.
