Mohawk Dawn Moshier, 57, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Health Care, New Hartford with her family by her side. Dawn was born on February 17, 1961 in Ilion the daughter of the late George and Mildred Varin Everson. She attended schools in Ilion and W. Winfield and on July 15, 1995 she was united in marriage with George Moshier creating a blended family of eight children. Dawn was employed at H&R Block in Herkimer as a tax preparer and was a member of the Word Christian Church, Mohawk. Dawn was a lovable caring person and wonderful wife and mother. She enjoyed camping and swimming with the family. Dawn is survived by her husband, her children and their spouses, Loretta and Steven Kotary of Ilion, Bonnie and George Brado of Inghams Mills, Michael Moshier of Frankfort, Christopher Burdick and Crystal Bessette of Herkimer, Nicole and Josh Moshier-Harris of Whitesboro, James and Andrea Rende of Ilion, Bob and Mary Rose of Ilion, Amanda Pettengill and Rich Chapple of Ft. Plain, Loretta and Corey Cass of Watertown. She is also survived by her siblings and their spouses Rosalyn Shew of Waterville, Pam and Tom Maine of Mohawk, Tina Mroz and George Eldred of Mohawk, Shirley Thomes of Herkimer, George and Lori Everson Jr. of Newport, Nancy Everson and Stephen Walters of Ilion, Roberta Goldberg and Tim Latt of Ilion, Marge Backus and her sister in law and best friend Dale Richer of Mohawk also 31 grandchildren, Oriana Collins, Kaitlynn Owens, Aubrey and Reeno Collins, Daniel, Tyler, Andrew and Jenna Brado, Beyonka and Logan Moshier, Kaidence Burdick, Serenity Harris, Mackenzie Symonds, Austin Pettengill, Faith-Araya Rende, Jarred Price, Jaide and Hope Rende, Leianna Harris, Braeden Harris, Rebecca Zabry, Aurora Burdick, Christopher Burdick, Jr.,Trevor Schoonmaker. Four great grandchildren, Brantley Fenton, Layla Fenton, Feliciti and Xayden Owens and many other family members. Memorial services will be at 6:00 PM Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, Inc., 100 Otsego St., Ilion, with Pastor Gene Kipper officiating. Friends may call from 3-6 PM.
