I was saddened to read of Caroline's passing in the facebook today in the celebration of her birthday. My husband's father Emerson, was a brother to Carrie, Caroline's grandmother. We talked about coming up there to visit but sadly never got there. It was too far for her to come to our annual Lilley family reunions here in Bethel. Any of her family would always be welcomed. Again, I am so sorry for your loss. I lost Earl this past July. Life is never the same without them. Fondly, Sharon Lilley

Lisa and family,
We send you our love and prayers for Caroline's
life. What a legacy of 10 grandchildren and 6 great grands. When Nancy and I visited her
we saw so many lovely pictures of family events with you and all the kids. She seemingly had many fun moments with you all. Our younger days were spent at Aunt Adelaide's and Uncle Art's house and we remember her playing the "squeeze box" and her dad accompanying her on his harmonicas. Fun memories.
God's blessings to you all.

Our deepest condolences to Caroline Elwood's family. We have not known her long but she has left a marked example to our church of joy in the midst of suffering. We mourn as those with the hope that she is now face to face with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. May God comfort and draw near to you as you grieve. Sorrowing yet rejoicing, Pastor Ed Reed and the fellowship at Christian Bible Church

Lisa and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember hanging out at your house when we were young and your poor mom had to put up with all of us. She was such a sweetheart. I know she will be sadly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
