I want to send my condolences to the family and friends of Dave Cole. Although there was a big difference in their ages, Dave was a friend of my Dad - Harry Yardley. As a little kid I spent a year living in a hospital for kids with severe asthma in Denver, Colorado. During the summer of that year (1969), Dave and my Dad drove out to visit me. They drove out in Dave's sports car (I was a kid so I don't remember exactly what it was - a Mustang maybe?) In any case, as a kid far from home I was thrilled to see my Dad and Dave was so much fun and so kind during the days of their visit. I have always appreciated the time that Dave took to accompany my Dad on that trip. Dave had a good heart, and between him and my Dad I'm sure they also had a lot of fun on the trip to Denver. All my best to Dave's family. - Jan Yardley

Judy and Dave's family,
So saddened to read of the passing of Dave. Unfortunately, over the years we hadn't seen each other since Dave was a Trooper and I pulled out in front of his unmarked car while leaving the P&C parking lot on Rt 28 in Herkimer. Yes, it's me again, Dave. RIP !
Thoughts and prayers with deepest condolences to Judy and the entire family.
May the good memories of Dave help you through this most difficult time.
Bob and Dolores, Hernando, FL.
