I just learned yesterday about Nina's passing. My sincere condolences to her family. I, of course, knew both Nina and Richard due to the many years they lived at my dad's home. Those were good times. Again my condolences.

My heart is so heavy knowing that I will not see Nina's beautiful smile on this earth again. Nina and my mother, Nina (pronounced Neena) were the best of friends. Nina and husband, Dick, and our VanValkenburg family were part of a group of families in Ilion that used to get together for holiday parties - at the home of Verna Seaton, who has passed. We used to have such fun! All of the families' children were friends also. I so miss those days!
Nina's smile lit up the room! She was always happy! She loved a good joke, great food and spending time with family and friends. I know my mom, Nina, is missing her dear friend so much. Nina and NIna enjoyed getting together at my mom's house to watch movies and have their snacks. They had some really great times together.
To Nina's family - children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren - your mom/grandmom was a wonderful person and is now in heaven with her husband, your father or grandfather, Dick. They are watching over you, love you with all their heart, and want you to know they are okay - they do not want you to be sad.
Please accept my condolences as I know how difficult a time this is for you. But, your mom, grandmom, is okay. There is no more pain or sickness. Take comfort in the great memories you have of her and your dad, grandad. Take comfort in your own families and stay close. Nina and Dick are watching over you and will always love you. You have all made them so very proud.
Nina, I love and miss you as does my mom. Until we meet again, keep smiling. Rest in peace, dear lady! Miss you much!

My deepest sympathy to Nina family. My Mom lived across from Nina. I will miss seeing and eBAgJvisiting with her. She was a very nice lady. It will not be the same for Streamside without her. Everyone becomes family. I really will miss her.
