Daly Family,
Veronica and I were very sorry to hear about the passing of your beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, Dorothy.
We have added you and your family to our daily prayer list.
It's very hard to say good-bye to a matriarch of one's family regardless of age/health because they are so very special having brought us into the world and having nurtured us throughout our lives with a special love that only a mother can provide.
May our Good Lord watch over, bless, protect, comfort and console you and your family as you endure this difficult, trying and sad time in your lives.
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family in your time of loss and sorrow.

Dear friends Leigh, Mary, Kathy, Erin and Tim,
First and foremost is my heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your wonderful mother, Dott. She was a beautiful lady inside and out, how blessed you were to have her for your mom.
As you know, we all became great friends during the “Reina’s” years when you were our regular (and favorite!) customers. But you quickly moved into the “family” category as we shared so many good times and fun stories together. Christmas shopping was such a happy time, but every time you came in brought genuine smiles to our faces. Besides Reina and myself, Joan and Ellen loved you all too. I always enjoy it when I see your family, but I’ve missed Dott for many years and now I know she’s at peace. To you, your dad and all your extended family...may God’s peace be with you as you celebrate her life while mourning her loss. She is surely wearing a lovely pink dress while looking down on you now from heaven.
Much love, Karen

I was saddened to hear about Dorothy‘s passing. Her obituary is beautiful and spot on... I remember her as being ever steadfast, encouraging, fun to be around, and always actively listening to what you had to say no matter what age. I have beautiful memories of my summers with all the Dalys at their backyard pool, County fair, Storytown, and just plain old fun and games. Dorothy would often participate and make sure we all had something to drink with a freezer full of Popsicles!
My love to ALL of you!

Leigh and Brian, Tim and Scott, Kathy and John, Mary and Jim, Erin and Kurt,
We are so saddened to hear of the passing of dear Dott. This beautiful tribute to her made me laugh and cry and remember so many things about her. She was a force, in so many ways-at the hospital, with her family, in our lovely town of Ilion. She was especially kind to my mother in her times of need, without judgement and for that, my family has always been grateful. Too many memories to list here but I especially remember her on the wonderful day Leigh and Brian got married, like it was yesterday.
I feel lucky to have known her.
With our love,
Colleen (Fitzgibbons) and John Talarico

Mrs. Daly, Dot or Leigh’s Mom as we knew her was a very special woman. She always welcomed everyone no matter how many kids were at their home. We had many laughs & fun times on South Third Ave. We would do acrobats from front door to back door & upstairs to downstairs & she would just smile. I was lucky enough to spend time with her at the Mohawk Homestead before she was too sick & she always had that big smile. Sending lots of hugs & prayers to all of the family.
