Dear Jodi, Lori and families: I was sorry that I did not get to see you over the past few days, so I wanted to express my deepest sympathy over the loss of your mother. As you know, she was a "fortress" at my office for many years. We all greatly enjoyed working with Donna and have great memories. My office staff joins me in expressing our condolences to you now and in the days to come.

Donna was a great friend, and I will miss her. We had a lot of laughs and fun times together. Our times at the pool and beach, our trips to Vegas, playing cards and celebrating Donna's and Milan's 50th Birthday together. Sending Lori and Jodi and their families hugs and prayers.

To Lori, Jodi and families: We are so sorry for your loss. Donna was a wonderful person, full of life and always a joy to be around. We have many fond memories of the trip to Las Vegas, many snowmobiling adventures, and of course the poker girls that ate their way to oblivion while trying to out-do each other with stories.

Donna was an absolute joy to be around, I was a cook in the Hawthorn house at Sitrin from 2015-2018 where she resided and I absolutely loved talking with her everyday, and loved talking with John when he came to visit her. They were always so sweet. A memory I have that I will never forget with Donna was when I found out I was expecting a baby and I came to work after I found out and told her, and she was over the moon excited for me. :) I’m thankful I got to meet her and it was my pleasure to care for her dietary needs while I was a cook in that house full time. I am praying and thinking of Donna’s family and friends and sending my condolences.

I am so sorry to hear of Donna's passing. I can still see her at the kitchen table playing cards with the gang and the four of them gabbing while grabbing each other's nickels. A get together with Jack and Donna, Lori, and Jodi was guaranteed to be a fun time whether it was in the middle of Winter or the middle of Summer.
