Harriet and Family
I was very saddened to hear of Ed's passing, and doubly saddened when I couldn't get there for the funeral. As you know Ed and I served almost 8 years together. First with the "Blues" (where he met and married you and where I met my future wife) and then with VA-215 in NAS Lemoore in California. I can still remember those weekend bar-b-q's we had at your apartment,. Ed was a pretty good chef in the day. There was one time when he let me cook the steaks, he never knew that I dropped his on the ground, but did give me a great complement on my cooking skills. Even with the fire and explosions aboard the USS Enterprise we both came through it unscathed.
I know we all will miss him deadly.
To you and the family, I give my deepest condolences.
Jack

Dear Harriet, Roger, Drew and family,
We are so very sad for all of you. Ed tried so hard to keep it going, but I think he was tired and wanted to go home to his Lord.
He loved his family and especially that new little granddaughter, Elizabeth, who just entered his life.
Our prayers are with all of you and hope the strength of God will bring you comfort. Ed is now at peace.
Love to all of you, Mary Ann and Buzz
